Fitness after 40 needs a different conversation.

Hi, I'm Katie

For over 15 years, I’ve coached women through fitness, nutrition, body transformation and confidence building.

But somewhere along the way, I realised women over 40 were being underserved, undereducated and massively misunderstood when it came to hormones, health, recovery and body composition.

Fit After 40 was created to change that.

THIS DIDN’T START WITH PERIMENOPAUSE.

Before “Fit After 40”, many women knew me for body transformation coaching, my signature bikini fitness programme and helping women feel stronger, leaner and more confident in themselves.

I spent years coaching women through:

fat loss

strength training

body composition

nutrition

confidence building

sustainable fitness

And I loved it.

Watching women reconnect with themselves physically and mentally through exercise has always been one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

But over time, I started noticing a pattern.

Women in their 40s were struggling in ways that traditional fitness advice simply wasn’t addressing.

Their bodies weren’t responding the same way.

Energy changed.
Recovery changed.
Sleep changed.
Stress tolerance changed.
Confidence changed.

Yet most women were still being told to:
“eat less”
“train harder”
“be more disciplined”
or simply accept feeling rubbish as part of getting older.

And honestly?
That never sat right with me.

THEN IT BECAME PERSONAL.

After having two beautiful babies in my 40s, I found myself navigating a level of exhaustion, hormonal change and physical shift that didn’t fully make sense.

As someone who had worked in fitness and nutrition for years, I knew my body well.

But this felt different.

I wasn’t looking for sympathy.
I was looking for answers.

The conversations around perimenopause felt vague, incomplete and heavily focused on simply “getting through it.”

I wanted to properly understand:

• What was happening physiologically.

• Why women suddenly felt unlike themselves.

• Why body composition changed.

• Why recovery became harder.

• Why sleep, mood, anxiety and energy could suddenly shift so dramatically.

And more importantly:

What women could actually DO about it.

So I went all in.

I expanded my education in menopause, menopause nutrition, gut health, hormones, recovery and long-term health optimisation for women over 40.

Because the truth is:
Women deserve far more support than they’re currently getting
.

THIS IS WHAT FIT AFTER 40 IS REALLY ABOUT.

This isn’t about “anti-ageing”.

And it’s not about chasing perfection either.

It’s about helping women understand their bodies properly so they can feel stronger, healthier and more like themselves again.

Because women over 40 deserve more.

Most are still:

• Building careers

• Raising families

• Managing homes

• Supporting everyone else

• Carrying huge mental loads

AND

Trying to sustain their own ambitions, confidence and energy, whilst their hormones quietly start rewriting the rules underneath them.

That deserves better support.

My coaching now combines:

• Evidence-based fitness

• Hormone-aware nutrition

• Menopause-informed lifestyle support

• Body composition expertise

* Recovery strategies

• Strength and longevity focused training

• Realistic coaching for real life

Because women do not need punishing plans.

They need informed support.

BUILT ON EXPERIENCE. BACKED BY EDUCATION.

Over the last 15+ years I’ve worked with women across:

What Koach Katie stands for

  • REAL LIFE

My approach is designed for women with full lives, responsibilities, ambitions and goals. This is not about stepping away from life. It’s about feeling great while living it.

  • EDUCATION

I believe women deserve clarity and understanding around hormones, their options, energy, recovery and wellbeing so they can make informed decisions about their health and future.

  • SUPPORT

No woman should feel isolated or left trying to navigate hormonal change alone. Community, accountability and connection are a huge part of the journey.

  • FUTURE SELF

This chapter is about creating a future where you feel strong, capable, energised and fully connected to yourself.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO NAVIGATE THIS CHAPTER ALONE.

Whether you are:

• Struggling with energy

• Frustrated with body composition changes

• Feeling flat, anxious or unlike yourself

• Trying to rebuild consistency

• or simply wanting to better support your long-term health

There is another way to approach this phase of life.

The goal is not perfection.

The goal is understanding your body well enough to support it properly.
